Oleksandr Lukashov

Oleksandr Lukashov is a strategic affairs consultant and political strategist who has deep expertise in government relations and media in Ukraine.

He has more than twenty years of experience in public administration, economics, and international relations. He is a recognized expert in strategic planning at the regional and national levels.

As a leading strategist who has won many major public affairs projects, he had also held senior management roles on successful national and regional political campaigns.

Oleksandr, who was twice elected as a Deputy of the Kharkiv City Council, a position he held from 2006-2015, began his career as an economic advisor and speechwriter for Yevhen Kushnaryov, former Governor of the Kharkiv Region. From 2015 to 2019, Oleksandr coordinated the activities of the Kharkiv Region Representative Office in Washington, DC.

Now Oleksandr advises CEOs and business owners. As an external advisor he also cooperates with Ukrainian based Atlantic Strategic Insights where he focuses on complex public and private sector issues and designs and manages clients’ efforts to access foreign and Ukrainian markets.

He holds the title of Honored Economist of Ukraine and has a PhD in Public Administration and a Master degree in Sociology. He is also a graduate of the Open World Leadership Program of the U.S. Congress.
